Medicare Rebates
Most consultations and procedures are eligible for a Medicare rebate. We process this electronically on your behalf. Out-of-pocket costs will vary depending on the rebate amount and whether additional services arerequired. Please bring your Medicare card to your appointment.
Private Billing Policy
Hills Skin Cancer Clinic is a privately billing service. We do not routinely bulk bill but pensioners (over 65years of age) with a concession card are often bulk billed before 4pm weekdays (no bulk billing on Saturdays). If you have any questions or specific concerns about fees, please speak with our reception team before your appointment.
Procedures & Surgical Treatment
If you require the removal of a lesion, we will discuss the procedure costs in advance. Fees for excisions and minor surgery will depend on the type, size, and location of the lesion, and whether additional work (e.g. flap repair or skin graft) is needed. In most cases, your procedure will be eligible for a Medicare surgical rebate. These details will be explained during your consultation.
Cancellation Policy
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.
