Meet Dr Boris Eskandari-Marandi

Dr Boris Eskandari-Marandi holds a masters degree in the field of Primary Care in Skin Cancer Medicine and is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Austalasia. He is also a member of of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has been doing regular skin checks for the early detection and treatment of skin cancers since 2007. Known for his thorough approach and calm, respectful manner, Dr Eskandari-Marandi combines clinical skill with a genuine focus on patient education and prevention.

What to Expect at Your Skin Check

Feeling unsure about your first visit? Here’s what happens:
  • A full skin examination is performed in a respectful and non threatening manner
  • Your skin is examined from head to toe using a dermatoscope
  • High-resolution photographs may be taken for monitoring purposes
  • Any suspicious lesions are discussed and a management plan is provided
  • Minor procedures may be scheduled on-site if required
We encourage all patients, especially those aged over 50, have a history of excessive sun exposure or who have had a skin cancer in the past , to have regular skin checks
